I?m not much for makeup. Still occasions exist which call for poised, polished, painted face, hair, and clothes. I discarded most of my expensive eyeliner, mascara, powder, blush, and lipstick years ago. They were old and had timed out. I felt they were a waste of money. Then a formal full dress occasion came up and I needed new makeup.
I learned about the new trend mineral makeup by chance and wanted to try it. Because its ingredients contain no oil or wax additives, synthetic fragrances, preservatives, parabens, or chemical dyes, dermatologists claim it is purer and kinder to the skin. Besides certified USDA Organic cosmetics, more expensive than liquid ones, last indefinitely unless user contaminated. I got some samples and now mineral makeup is all I use. (Added bonus: as a non-liquid the Federal Aviation Administration allows it to fly in any size.)
The summer sun has bronzed my skin nicely so my non-deliberate natural tanning with sunscreen almost 24/7 requires different shades of color. Accordingly my receiving Aubrey Silken Earth Warmed Rose Powder Blush is great timing.
Just one easily applied big brush of it highlights and brightens my cheeks day to night ? no touchup required. Its warm, beautiful peachy pink color together with its silky feel and finish work well on my sensitive skin. I like this product because it is natural looking, affordable, and safe.
One caution ? it takes a while for one to get use to Aubrey Silken Earth Powder Blush?s shaker container. Nevertheless, as this blush is a fine powder, this packaging allows use sparingly.
Aubrey Silken Earth Powder Blush is available on line and in many local retailers. Its SMRP is $11.95 For more information, go to www.aubrey-organics.com where the
